Travel agents do the legwork, they make planning as stress-free as possible, they offer insight, they have expertise, they have access to some of the best deals, and they do sometimes have perks not available to the general public! Will I pay more if I book through an agent?
More Than Bookings provides a free initial consultation. Clients will receive a maximum of two free vacation quotes . If additional quotes are requested, an applicable non-refundable intent-to-travel deposit (per additional quote) is required. When a vacation is booked with More Than Bookings within 30 days of receipt of an additional quote, non-refundable intent-to-travel deposits received by MTB are allocated toward client travel. If after 30 days a Client does not book/finalize, any and all intent-to-travel deposit(s) made to More Than Bookings for additional consultation and quotes are forfeited. If a client cancels vacation plans, MTB reserves the right to invoice client for the non-refundable intent-to-travel deposit amount(s) as an administrative research fee.
Can you work within a certain budget?
MTB works within realistic budgets. An honest sharing of ideas and goals for your vacation helps immensely when making recommendations and edits to travel plans.
Do you provide any other services?
MTB tailors our service to our clients. We do offer options to assist clients with check-in, printing and mailing of documents, "during travel" availability, etc.
Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is available and highly recommended. Many trips, such as tours and cruises, involve non-refundable funds paid months in advance. Travel insurance protects you from losing your travel investment. Perhaps even more important is ‘during travel’ coverage and assistance that comes with top travel insurance carriers.
Trip interruption due to illness or unforeseen circumstances can be very expensive, and medical care abroad is often not covered by domestic insurance plans. Also, an increasing number of countries require proof of medical insurance for travelers entering their country.
